Best Friends Animal Rescue takes great care in ensuring we get the right people for each dog.

Foster homes vastly increase the number of animals which Best Friends can remove from dire circumstances while finding them new forever homes.

Best Friends Animal Rescue uses long-term fostering for dogs who cannot be re-homed due to age or medical conditions.  Long-term foster dogs have their expenses paid for the rest of their lives by the rescue.  Though they are not available for adoption, they are often placed with our very special Long-Term Foster carers who offer these dogs palliative care and love, while Best Friends manages their nutritional, physiotherapy and veterinary needs.

The service of providing a loving home to these unfortunate animals is an immensely rewarding experience.

Long-term Foster carers take dogs into their own homes and provide a loving home environment to ease these dogs final days/months/years.  They receive full support from the Best Friends Animal Rescue team in doing so.  They are very special people indeed!
