Animal Welfare Grant Program

A huge shout-out of thanks to the Animal Welfare Grant Program!  These folks are part of The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) here within the Western Australian Government.  They have generously supported us in our mission to protect, rehabilitate and rehome senior and special needs canines by giving us a grant to help us pay part of our veterinary, physiotherapy and nutrition bills in 2024- 2025.  This has been doubly welcome as the crisis in dog rescue that started just at the end of the COVID pandemic has continued on and we have been overwhelmed by the number of pet surrenders.  This situation has been compounded by the worrying economy meaning that there are fewer prospective donors and adoptive homes available in the community.
